English Language - Muslim Audience

Bismillah (in the name of Allah ) Previously I wrote about my experience in a mosque in Manchester and the interesting discussion I had with an elderly Muslim. Today I had a funny experience attending a talk in Arabic about fiqh (religious stuff or jurisprudence) in a Cardiff mosque after work. What happened: The talk was about a low level topic. About the different classifications of water for the purpose of ascertaining purity for normal day usage. Eg what is pure water ( eg rain and rivers ), what is not so pure (eg a small lake that has been contaminated with something etc. That kind of level. So the first question in my mind was why was this low level topic being talked about and we have major problems within us? Eg demonisation of muslims in the west, sectarianism  etc. This shows that muslims are still fast asleep and are yet to awake to their current reality in the west. This is point one.  Muslims in the West need to realise that the tide is now moving against them and that they are now operating under a new paradigm. So what will the reactions be? One set of muslims will simply abandon Islam I think. The pressure will be too much on them. Another set will try to be brave and see themselves as fulfilling some Devine role etc. But as soon as the media and public spot light goes on them and they are forced to defend their positions and arguments they will get defeated. Not because Islam is weak but because they don't have the right understanding of Islam. So the best reaction is to get the right understanding of Islam.  And this, I believe, is the one where you can defend Islam with arguments so powerful that they will fear to question you. Because they know you have powerful words. My view. Peace.

Don't say I have something (when talking about skills you have and are proud of) say instead Allah/God/Creator has given me something. This way you can remove any ego attachment. And so you can say that with what he gave me I will use for the cause of good to better my situation in the next life. 

The start of true Islam is to use the mind. But today our start as Muslims seems to have become to remove the mind. And instead we copy sheikhs.

Bismillah My experiences with a mosque i have been visiting recently (in the uk). Overall it is positive alhamdulilah (thank God). Basically those with influence have recognized that the root of our problem are our imams ( those who lead prayers and give sermons). This is a major step for any mosque to realize. From this realization they then brought in a younger imam full of love and goodness. Who started teaching about love instead of propagating fear which those useless imams do mostly. Because they don't know love i think. Maybe no one loved them (or very few). I won't even point out that the young imam speaks English while that imported one doesn't. That's a given unfortunately and quite common i think. And it is more a reflection of the intellect of the mosque committee than the imams themselves. The blind men and the elephant. Very important story to learn to look at the whole picture. Get all the arguments, then decide. Each touches one part and thinks that's what an elephant is.

The good thing is that all the evil that is going on in this world will end and there will be a day of justice for all the oppressed. Not one oppressed person will be left out. My belief. Funny story today happened at the mosque after prayers. An old man came to me telling me how important it is to do sunna prayers (extra prayers that aren't compulsory) and how important to cover the hair is for men when praying. And that the situation of the Muslims is bad because we stopped caring about such small issues. And he mentioned that this is also why muslims lost Spain. The strange thing is that many muslims, especially elderly ones, believe this. This is the sad reality and reflects how shallow our thinking and depth of understanding of Islam is. It was not easy to reply back to him. He was so convinced. The main point i wanted to give back to him is that it's fine if he believes this. I don't mind. But don't try to impose your view on others just because you are so convinced. The problem is that there is a major issue that many of us are grossly ignorant of I believe. Bismillah I am aware that this title seems very strange and some Muslims may think i have committed kufr by saying it but lend me your mind for a bit and then decide. And if you can make it an open mind too please. This statement is like that of sheikh Yusuf AlQardawi ( head of the European Muslim scholars council i believe) who said Freedom comes before Islam i believe. It's also similar to the statement that says before you become a Muslim you need to be a human. Consider this scenario: Say you are in an age where Islam hasn't come down yet to a certain society on earth. So their region (or way of life) will not be Islam but something else. And assume they are good and fair people and their society is composed of different factions and religions and races etc. How will they be able to live peacefully on the same peace of land and as one society and nation? The many benefits of the Turkey coup attempt: 1- Showed us how brave the Turks are and how much they value their freedom. 2- Showed us how much hateful living under a military coup is. It's quite simple, they just tell them that they aren't allowed to think for themselves. And to leave all the important thinking to the milk shiekhs. This way they get to control them more easily. False religion isn't about seeking truth. It's about control. And to do that you must become a sheep. This means deactivating your mind. Or only occupying it with small issues like the size of your beard or the length of your dress or the way you pray etc. This way the corrupt rulers are able to be corrupt in peace; without the masses showing anger towards them. The Quran is like a manual of life that teaches how to live life successfully. It's not a book of love. But a book of direction and teaching. More than love. What's Islam about? 1. Knowing how reality it ( from the Quran). 2. Finding out what to do. 3. Trying to do it. What is Islam? Islam is a life path ie a path in life. Follow it to get a successful life. Learn patience. The sect is not part of Islam. So why are you taking instructions from your sect? Leave all the sects is my advice. We don't need sects. They only divide us. We need unity and care for each other. No one said we have to choose a sect. Not Quran and not Prophet. It has been brainwashed into us without us realizing. We need to wake up from that brainwashing. And Allah knows best. Salaam. Bismillah I think I've figured out what this life is about. It's about those who use their mind for truth and those who don't use their mind. Those who don't use their mind end up being led by some other person's mind ( conditioned eg through TV / mass media etc) but they don't realize it. Those who use their mind become raised. Eg Martin Luther King, Malcom X, Ghandi, Mandella. This is basically it i think. But the thinkers must not be afraid to speak the truth they found. And not be afraid of those in authority. Bismillah I think a good strategy for us is to fund advertising campaigns eg on buses that put our side of view. This way we access the alternative media that then counters the tv conditioning. Or even fund ads on tv if poss. Eg if our government bombs countries abroad why do we feel shocked when bombings happen at home. Surely this would be expected? Such types of messages would counter the heavy conditioning that the masses receive from the mass media especially tv and newspapers. And i feel if we did fund these ads they would be severely resisted by the authorities even if they complied with the rules. And this would be a good sign that this route is an effective one. The hate on the muslims is just a diversion i think. So that the Zionists can implement their plans without being noticed. What we need are Political Sufis i believe. Not scared to speak truth to power and at the same time aware of Allah and his love. Deep thinkers who can cut through the bull of normal conversation and show truth. But with mercy in their hearts. Balanced.

Bismillah The understanding of Islam we have today, very little good comes out of it. Because it's based on being stupid and not thinking. Not aware, just obedient to some sheikh. We think if we are part of the tradition then we are ok. But we become sheep that dont think, only. And those who react to it become nutters who want to commit evil in the name of Islam. The science we have today is hijacked science. Hijacked by people who aren't intetested in God. Like how spirituality was hijacked by priests who were after power. How we see God is how we become i think. If we see God shining love and goodness then we become loving and good. We are like a cup that God fills. And if we see God as an angry hater then we start carrying hate and anger and project this to others. This is how you get crazy fundamentalists. They see God completely wrong. Fundamentalist atheists are like that too. They see God completely wrong.

I think the Muslims lost the love in Islam because they accepted Muawiya and got fooled by his the false scholars. His scholars told the Muslims there is no love in Islam and that we shouldn't think and that most important thing is obey the leader even if he is corrupt. And if anyone didn't agree with this they are kafir and should be killed etc. In this way they silenced any opposition. The Muslims need to wake up to this reality before things get even worse, i believe. Salaam Also: What is happening to Muslims in terms of hardships and difficulties is not because Allah is punishing them for straying away from Islam , as i used to think, but because the Muslims brought it in themselves when they accepted to become sheep infront of the false scholars that work for the rulers/kings. And Allah knows better.

Introduction: Why unity through a new sect? Why not within existing sects? Because existing sects are no longer tolerant sects. They have become sworn enemies to each other. Happy to do takfeer on each other and start killing and annihilating each other. So creating a new sect has become a possible way to address the unity problems that we have. We can try it and see if it helps improve things. If it does then very good, and if it doesnt then we can leave it and search for another way. Even if it fails it may give us some benefits from the experience of trying. And having thought about it i think it may turn out to be a good way, Allah knows. But I wanted to release it to the general populace of muslims to see what they think. Some will say this is bid'aa (bad innovation) and thus completely unacceptable, while others may be willing to think about it and suggest improvements etc. So its like doing a shura (consultation) with the ummah on this matter. If you want to stop the control of priests on you then just make the search for truth above your religion, whatever your religion is. Even if it's the new religion called atheism. Bypass scientists by seeking truth for yourself. Truth is the best aim a human can have i believe. The search for it should be above everything. The true religion, or way, will tell you this, i believe. And Allah knows best.

We muslims need to be born again i think. Because our corrupt current understanding of Islam needs to be completely removed and replaced with a new one based on love. Love and freedom of thought. And Allah knows better. Salaam
