Why democracy comes before Islam?

Bismillah
I am aware that this title seems very strange and some Muslims may think i have committed kufr by saying it but lend me your mind for a bit and then decide. And if you can make it an open mind too please.
This statement is like that of sheikh Yusuf AlQardawi ( head of the European Muslim scholars council i believe) who said Freedom comes before Islam i believe.
It's also similar to the statement that says before you become a Muslim you need to be a human.

Consider this scenario: Say you are in an age where Islam hasn't come down yet to a certain society on earth. So their region (or way of life) will not be Islam but something else. And assume they are good and fair people and their society is composed of different factions and religions and races etc. How will they be able to live peacefully on the same peace of land and as one society and nation?
It will be difficult won't it.
Unless they come up with principles that they all agree on.
1. Freedom: ie no one can impose their view or thinking on the other. All are free to think how they like. As long as no one is causing harm to society. So this is personal belief freedom and freedom to work an live any way a person wants ( providing it's legal ie not harmful to others).
2. Democracy: Here this means they share power fairly. So no one faction has power on the rest. So this means elections and fair representation of all factions in parliament (ie the hall where society is represented by elected representatives). And so this way the majority faction (which may also be a coalition of factions) gets to rule with the others forming opposition factions. Like what exists in Britain with Labour, conservatives , Greens , Liberals etc. And so the majority faction or party creates the laws etc. With General elections every few years to ensure the representation stays accurate and the will of the people is the highest power.

I think this would be regarded as a fair way of living and sharing power between differing factions of society without fighting for power and making coups etc. The army would be used only to defend the nation rather than to interfere with power in matters of ruling.

Enter Islam and Muslims. This is where things go funny because today's understanding of Islam is so corrupted i believe unfortunately.
Firstly some of them will say democracy is haram ( not allowed) because only God has the right to rule (ie to legislate). Man is not allowed to do that. Man must obey God. This is the standard belief i think in this corrupted understanding. Second you don't have freedoms. You obey God if you are a Muslim. If you are not Muslim then you have freedom because Islam doesn't impose belief on non Muslims. This part is good and not corrupted thankfully.
But the problem is that they are not into sharing power. You can have your freedom as a non Muslim as long as we the Muslims are in power. ie as long as Islam is in power. The non Muslims become known as Dhimmies then.
So then the question is how would the Muslims gain power over all the other factions? I don't think many of today's Muslims have an answer to that except to impose themselves by force. They don't know about democracy (or may not believe in it) and they aren't into freedom either as they believe in obedience. But this is not because Islam is bad. But because Muslims don't know true Islam. We know mainly a corrupted form of Islam created by rulers in our past history who cancelled thr democracy we once had and imposed heriditory kingship (ie like dictatorship) and corrupted the true merciful Islam into an ugly Islam that is still with is today. An Islam that is devoid of love and filled with obedience and fear instead. And with blind following of ignorant priests whom i call milk sheikhs.
And this corruption happened about 1000 years so. So it's pretty well ingrained in is now i think.
And it is this corruption of understanding that has made is backward and stupid. As over time it got worse and worse until God removed the global state we once had ( the caliphate) and opened up the doors of his worldly punishment on us in the hope that we would wake up from this corrupted Islam and return to true Islam based on love and fairness to all i believe.
So this explains why the Muslims are under such hardships today. God ( Allah) is telling us we need to change and correct our understanding of Islam otherwise more punishment on the way.
So instead of blaming only the West we should blame ourselves mainly. Because as a nice saying goes, "if we weren't sheep then our enemies wouldn't become wolves."

What is Religion and how is it meant to Operate ?

Religion first of all is about thinking and questioning why we are here on this planet and in this existence. Once we know why we can then choose to live in the appropriate way in accordance with those reasons. The word choose is important cos we have been given free choice (God has given us this). So we can choose not to if we like too. This search for truth starts with is there really a higher power that created us and everything? (The one we call God or Allah or Jehovah etc).
