One Important thing we must all realise !!

 We are All Leaving !!!

Not one of us is staying. So we should just ensure that we do as much good as possible and not harm anyone too (eg even through backbiting on them or hassad). It doesnt really matter what people say about you, what matters is if you feel Allah swt is happy with you or not. If your relation with Him is good, and you geniunly believe you are working for Him to server humanity and do good then you are on the right path in my estimation. Because Allah cares about our intention most, and that we have clean hearts that dont harbour hate for others or have hassad on others etc. Once you have this and you feel close to Allah then you are on a winner inshaAllah. I also advise seeking a good Sufi shaykh as a guide (or murshid) for you so that he can improve you further and help you come even closer to Allah swt and at much higher speed than on your own. Same as going to a foreign country and not having a guide. Which is the better option? But there are fake ones out there so just make sure you search well and dont rush it. Allah swt will help you and will take you to the right Shaykh when the time is right. You just need to keep the search on thats all. Go through the various sheikhs available, start with your own neighbourhood, usually the right shiekh appears close to you but you didnt realise.

The shaykh will even help you become a guide yourself and this work then increases your reward and closeness to Allah as you will be guiding others to Him. On top of that you will become one of the Awliyaa' inshaAllah and will have protection from Allah and have done the best for yourself in this life. They will also help advise on Tazkiya and the important principles in our time that we need to focus on eg Khidma (service to Ummah), Tasfiyaa (Purity of the heart such that you harbour no hate on any Muslim even if they are fasiq, instead you would pray for them), Iftiqaar (Humility and humbleness, the opposite of arrogance and showing off).


Note that if you are foreign then your sheikh may be from your mother country rather than your current one.

What is Religion and how is it meant to Operate ?

Religion first of all is about thinking and questioning why we are here on this planet and in this existence. Once we know why we can then choose to live in the appropriate way in accordance with those reasons. The word choose is important cos we have been given free choice (God has given us this). So we can choose not to if we like too. This search for truth starts with is there really a higher power that created us and everything? (The one we call God or Allah or Jehovah etc). If we find that there really is such a power then we can ask about it. What is its nature. Why has it sent our souls here, to this planet and put us in the bodies that we are in. What is the point?
