My view on the Dajjal (Anti Christ) and how it connects to today

 Recently brother Ihsan Alexander created a video about the Anti Christ which is very interesting and i wanted to present it here and also add to it where i differ as its a very interesting topic for us today. 



So he is basically saying that there is a system view of him and potentially a person view of him where he may later appear as the person behind the system for instance. His powers may come from where Science has got to today (especially in allowing to grow crops rapidly and to extract riches from the earth easily eg oil etc). From my viewpoint i would say that teh Dajjal is basically the TV ie the mainstream TV programming (strange how we actually call it a TV program ie it is programming us ie conditioning us, ie brainwashing us). So if we look at it like that then we can see it fits in many places. One eyed means 2 dimenstional as Ihsan says. Now if we look at a TV screen then it is infact 2 dimensional.  So if our TV's were 3D we can say the Dajjal is 2 eyed. And in the middle of the forhead it is written kufr ie when u watch TV all you see is kufr programs. They dont tell you to believe in God on the TV. Its always believe in Evolution, nature etc, and Religion is always presented as negative rather than positive. Hence the path for Hell is presented as if it Heaven and the path for Heaven is present as Hell. This accounts for how he makes the Hell path nice and the Heaven one ugly, and thus explains the hadith about this.

In another Hadith brother Ihsan cites where the army are told by shaytan that the Dajjal has come out and are told that he has replaced their family's parents here again it is the TV that has programmed and conditioned and brainwashed the muslimeen.  So this is one way of understanding it. The TV is powerful because it is in every house in general, and it attracts children via the Cartoons and so on, and then takes them slowly into kufr without the parents being aware. 

Also the hadith that says Dajjal will travel the whole world except madina and mecca and this also makes sense in that those places you dont see the normal TV channels that exist outside it. Eg when i went to hajj there it was all religious channels there wherever u go. Even in the hotels etc. Although now with bin Salman things are going bad and dajjal is entering, which shows that we are near the end of times now.

Further more sheikh Imran Hossein also may have been the first to start this metaphorical view of the hadiths of the beautiful prophet of Allah, eg the one that dajjal would ride a donkey with long ears and made of metal (this is the airplanes of today). And that he will leave a mark like clouds (this is the jet fuel trail of planes). 


Also sheikh Hamza Yusuf has spoken on this too and mentioned that the hairy animal that appears in a hadith of the rasool pbuh , called the Jassassa, is indicative of the internet with its huge connections and networks. 


Regardig the dajjal being able to divide someone in two and bring them back to life , i disagree that it is science and nano technology but also that it is a metaphore for the power of mainstream media in destroying the reputation of someone and then returning back their reputation depending on how they present them on TV and media. So the person in the hadith who will challenge the Dajjal, the dajjal will destroy their reputation and then return it to them and the person will say this makes me more sure that you are indeed the dajjal that the rasool pbuh has told us about. 


If we continue this metaphorical viewpoint (which seems to be true for these futuristic hadiths) then we can say that the Mahdi may be the muslims when they wake up again and follow true islam and Jesus represnt the Westerners who return to Christianity and then form an alliance. So we can see this  happening now as we see calls for Muslims and Christians to join together against Zionism (representing the Dajjal today).  But there may also be individual Mahdi and Jesus as persons as well as metaphoric like the possible situation with the Dajjal.

Religion first of all is about thinking and questioning why we are here on this planet and in this existence. Once we know why we can then choose to live in the appropriate way in accordance with those reasons. The word choose is important cos we have been given free choice (God has given us this).
