What Muslims should do now

Bismillah
I think we need to explain what true Islam is really like to the western people as the media is giving them completely opposite type of understanding. That Muslims just want to attack and harm westerners etc. This is not true. But there are elements who have adopted the evil Wahabi sect that Saudi cradles and because of their immense oil money they spread it far and wide unfortuntely. And also because western governments keep that evil regime propped up and supported and this help maintain that spread.
So we need to explain what true Islam is and if we don't know it we need to find out. I have written up my understanding of it in the link below. Basically it's closer to Sufism where you think deeply about the meaning of things and less about the outer appearances ( which is what  wahabism focuses on i believe).
Then we need to tell people the difference between the two so they can see the beauty of Islam and stop believing the lies of the media.

What is Religion and how is it meant to Operate ?

Religion first of all is about thinking and questioning why we are here on this planet and in this existence. Once we know why we can then choose to live in the appropriate way in accordance with those reasons. The word choose is important cos we have been given free choice (God has given us this). So we can choose not to if we like too. This search for truth starts with is there really a higher power that created us and everything? (The one we call God or Allah or Jehovah etc).   First of all we need to have an idea of what all this is all about.
