Bismillah As UK Muslims i believe we should pray that Allah protect Jeremy Corbyn from all evil. Especially from the evil of those who he is currently a threat to. This is because he is a decent human being who fights for goodness and justice and deserves the prayers of all good people i believe. I hope our imams will pray to Allah to protect him every Friday sermon too. And i hope Christians, Jews and all religions will do the same. We should support those who want good for humanity and we should stand up to those who want to harm humanity. Unity is strength. Salam

I keep using this term True islam, so i must give my understanding of it. And why I believe we are in false Islam ie a wrong understanding of Islam. Ok this is a summary. In the past, when Islam first came down via the Prophet Muhamed peace be upon him it was about mercy and freedom and no forcing. No one was forced to do anything they didnt wan to do. They followed the quran. Believe if you want to and disbelieve if you want to. There is no compulsion (ie forcing) in Religion. But as you are probably all well aware its like the Quran has either been completely ignored, or we have started understanding it as if it says the opposite of what it says. So now many ISIS or wahabi types translate it the following way: "if you dont believe what i believe then you deserve to be dead and to go to Hell. You are all mushriks and I must hate you all. 1. The Colonised Mentality These think whatever the white man says is truth and right. I think you may find these people near positions of power, may be hoping to become MPs or work in parliament etc. They tend to be in awe of the current system and may be eager to be part of the establishment. They love things like Eton and like very much to appear upper class. In my view they at lost and have no identity of their own. Busy trying to copy. 2. The anti-infidel Mentality. This is the exact opposite of the colonised one. Here these people have a big superiority complex and think that because they are Muslim they have become superior human beings and have the right to denigrate others. Ok Bismillah As you know our situation today with bad leadership, and especially,  ill equipped imams means that Muslims instead of being given awareness during Friday khutbas, they are instead being given doses of sleep powder. Making them more and more unawake. Dead, nearly. So, we, the awake Muslim youth, represented by many sections of the community, want to address this issue. This is my first attempt at a vision for what a revived, well operating, community will be Inshalah. With good leadership and most importantly good khutbas that give good awareness of the immediate situation we are facing and purposes good solutions too Inshalah. 1. Dear Muslim Convert Welcome to Islam but beware the general situation of Muslims. A big majority of us today unfortunately are just Muslim by name and worse still there is a minority who appear very religious but have very dark hearts. Please be very very careful. You may find that staying away from most Muslims is the best solution for the time being. Sorry to give you this advice when you are looking forward to a new and happy life as a Muslim. There are ofcourse some very good Muslims. But they are not the majority currently i believe. And they may tend not to speak out but keep themselves to themselves. Do we need a revival? Some may argue that we don't. The way we are behaving is fine, they may think. Others may think we need it but may not be clear about its details. Here are my current thoughts: 1- Our leadership needs changing. Especially at the mosque Imam levels. We need speeches that actually help us address our issues. Not repeats that put people to sleep. This is such a fundamental point i believe and will take great efforts to accomplish. There are so many obstacles to accomplish this. Here they are in my view: A- Mosque committees are not interested in this type of change. They will resist it. It's too alien to them. B- Imams are not equipped to deal with these issues. One imam i believe even questioned whether there is a need for unity! Many are just not equipped intellectually i think. Mostly Saudi trained and hence not taught true Islam.
