Our main flaw as muslims today


Our main flaw as muslims today maybe our focus on the battle jihad as opposed to the intellectual jihad. The intellectual jihad is the top jihad.
This is the ability to discuss openly and honestly about all issues and admit mistakes and failings while at the same time be able to take on all current world ideologies and show why Islam is better. Words are the tools not knives. Courage here is the ability to be open and honest and to spend enough time that is needed to understand what is what. Patience is vital. Perseverance too.
And if we find that there is another way superior to Islam we should not hesitate to embrace it and change. Those who find this concept difficult to grasp do not understand Islam well enough i believe. Many are afraid of this concept even though it is what many prophets in the Quran preached. And i think this is because most of us took Islam on by copying our parents and piers  as opposed to going on an intellectual journey seeking truth.

What is Religion and how is it meant to Operate ?

Religion first of all is about thinking and questioning why we are here on this planet and in this existence. Once we know why we can then choose to live in the appropriate way in accordance with those reasons. The word choose is important cos we have been given free choice (God has given us this). So we can choose not to if we like too. This search for truth starts with is there really a higher power that created us and everything? (The one we call God or Allah or Jehovah etc). If we find that there really is such a power then we can ask about it. What is its nature. Why has it sent our souls here, to this planet and put us in the bodies that we are in. What is the point? And more importantly has there been any communication from it. Depending on what we find we can then go on different routes.   First of all we need to have an idea of what all this is all about. This is my analysis so far:  The Basic Idea behind the plan : The Far right say UK is Christian country and we don’t want immigrants especially Muslims What we do is: Actually we are happy to help the uk people become more Christian and return to Christianity as they have moved away from it and towards materialism and loss of spirituality.
