English Language - Muslim Audience

I think true scholars should wear the same clothes as the people they serve. They are not better than the prophets. And the prophets didn't distinguish themselves from their people i believe. Plus to distinguish yourself by your clothes is a sign of ego ( arrogance). So a sign of a true scholar is that they don't wear special clothes i think. And Allah knows best.

How i understand Islam now: It is to do with melting away the ego of the self to the extent you become close to the Devine. You then feel the love and beauty of the Devine and want to follow in it's way. So you become an ambassador of good and a warrior against evil.
