What does kafir mean in Islam?

My understanding of what kafir (infidel) means in Islam: Kafir means someone who covers. ie denies something. If i show you that 1 + 1 =2 and you accept inside you but outwardly you don't accept it then you have gone into denial. Assuming i showed you convincingly but you chose to deny for some vested interest. So if you disbelieve because this is what you were conditioned into then you have not become a kafir. You're only kafir if someone shows you a convincing argument which internally you accept but outwardly you deny. This is my understanding of kafir (infidel).

What's the difference between a normal free thinker and a Muslim Free thinker?

The first exists, the other doesn't. Muslims don't free think. They obey ! :-) We have been taught we must obey ! Obey obey obey obey obey obey .......... and on.... No one taught us to think think think think... Just obey. So we became sheep.

UK Muslims choose to stay weak!

Bismillah As long as the Muslims in the UK (or any country) are not united under one body or umbrella organization that represents them then they effectively have no voice and can be ignored. Simple. Forget about unity and forget about your voice. Stay weak of you want to oh Muslims. The Jews and the Christians both have one main body that represent them but not us. We are happy to be divided and weak. In that case we shouldn't complain when we are tred upon by the media and others. We deserve it maybe. Stay weak seems to be our motto. When we don't know how to unite with each other, that says a lot about us and our understanding of life and Islam. And shows that we at the present time are not ready to play a role on this planet. Basically we want to learn the hard way. Not the easy way. So be it. Ali Twaij Uk Muslim
